History

Richard James was formed by Richard Power and James Goldsobel in April 2004 to act as a specialist agency dealing with high calibre property in North West London and is one of the recognised market leaders in Mill Hill, Totteridge, Arkley and Hendon areas.

We have built an enviable reputation for being experts in our field and for selling some of the finest properties in the area. Our name has become synonymous with good quality property and therefore an endorsement of excellence. Our dedicated, discreet and proactive sales team will work tirelessly to achieve your expectations or even to surpass them!

We offer a full letting and management service for any property from a studio through to ambassadorial residences. We deal exclusively with many corporate bodies, relocation agents and embassies.

Our in house lettings specialists are able to advise on valuation, landlord’s legal obligations, insurance, referencing and contracts.

Our state of the art offices in the heart if Mill Hill Broadway are manned daily longer than any of our local competition. If we are lucky enough to win your instruction each and every viewing is accompanied by an experienced member of staff (including weekends).

Whilst we offer a discreet marketing service (which we would be happy to discuss if you feel this is of interest to you), if you have instructed us to sell in the conventional manner, we will display your property on every major web portal including Rightmove, Zoopla, Primelocation and On The Market.

We have an extensive database of applicants registered with us at any given point in time. Often we are able to secure a sale before property particulars are even drawn up but in the event that they are necessary we will produce a set of colour property details which will include a floorplan, property description and professional taken images of your home (on sole agency instructions).

Meet The Team

Richard Power MNAEA, MARLA Director

Richard is a founding partner of Richard James when Richard and James first established Richard James in 2004 their vision was to deliver a first-class bespoke estate agency service with an emphasis on proactive marketing and satisfying individual client requirements, in order to differentiate them from existing high street agencies. Today, these values remain at the forefront of everything we do. Over the years, Richard has played an active role in helping Richard James to build a fine reputation for exemplary service and to become a market leading agent in the North West London area.

James Goldsobel MNAEA Director

James is a founding partner of Richard James and started his career as an estate agent in 1990 working for a well known Highgate firm before moving to St John’s Wood. He has known Mill Hill and it’s surrounds for the vast majority of his life having been brought up in the area and attending Mill Hill School. Outside of work he enjoys family time with his wife, 5 kids and 4 dogs. If time permits a round of golf doesn’t go amiss.

Natalie Leon Sales Manager

Natalie has over 30 years experience in the industry based predominantly in North West London. She has a love of property and passion for the North London market. Natalie is a tenacious and creative Sales Manager and builds lasting relationships with her clients, whilst delivering a high level of expertise and care.

Anthony Cooper MARLA Lettings Manager

Anthony has been in the business for over 30 years and has worked locally for all his agency life. He is passionate about his job and is always available to help all landlords and tenants with all aspects of the business. He has obtained the Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management and is a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents.

Joseph Bookman Negotiator

Joseph joined the Richard James team in August 2022. With a strong passion for the property market, Joseph is keen to learn all aspects of the property business. In his spare time Joseph enjoys watching his beloved Arsenal, travelling and nice dinners with family and friends.

The marketing was well planned and executed, and the pictures of the house looked drop dead gorgeous!
